Mount View Elementary invited professionals from more than 25 local businesses to take part in the school's annual Career Enrichment Day. The event gives students an opportunity to explore career choices, ask questions, and in some instances, experience hands-on training or try on job-related gear. Just a few of the individuals who participated in the event included Lt. Col. Shawn Edwards of the Nebraska Army National Guard; Caleb Morgenson, assistant field supervisor for the Nebraska Humane Society (and canine friend Flash); Sarah Ehlers, food scientist for Con Agra Foods; Myesha Jackson, pharmacy technician at Walgreens; Clyde Garmong, OPS electrician; and Diedra Harris, general manager for Great Escape Theater.
