Castelar Elementary art teacher Nicole Mann and Omaha teaching artist Megan Minturn collaborated this summer to provide an extensive creative movement workshop for students enrolled in the school's Cardinal Camp. The workshop, based on the Diavolo Movement Company's technique, emphasized trust, teamwork, creativity and self-expression. Students showcased the choreography they learned during a culminating performance on June 18. The workshops were collectively part of the Diavolo Project: Nebraska series, sponsored by Omaha Performing Arts.
