Music is an art form.  Music is personal expression.  Music identifies our culture.  The annual All-City Music Festival is a celebration of music in the Omaha Public Schools.  The value of music as a part of the human experience cannot be overstated.  Likewise, the value of music education in developing good aesthetic communication as an art form, as personal expression and as cultural identification cannot be overstated.  Our goals as music educators are to develop music literacy in all students using performance (singing and playing), listening and composing.  The All-City performance by these young musicians is a demonstration of their music learning.  Thank you for supporting music and music education.
