Adult Basic Education classes continue in a variety of locations and times throughout the city. (the classes are designed to help students prepare for the GED testing) There is no cost for these basic skills classes. Anyone who is at least 16 years old and out of school is eligible to attend, and must attend an Orientation session. All 16, 17, and 18 year olds must have an official high school transcript on file in the Adult Basic Education office before they attend orientation.
