I. All Applicants
1. Must attend orientation.
2. Must be a resident of Nebraska and resided here for thirty (30) days preceding the date of application and provide proof of such residency if the last school attended was not in Nebraska.
3. Must present a valid government issued Photo ID.
II. 18 Year-Old Students
1. Follow procedures outlined in Section I.
2. Provide an official transcript from the last high school attended, indicating the date of withdrawal and the date of birth.
3. If applicant has been out of school less than 60 days, a written waiver must be provided from the last school attended.
4. Complete the Nebraska Department of Education application in the Adult Education office.
5. Steps 1-4 must be completed prior to attending orientation.
6. Must be withdrawn from the last high school in good standing. Students under a current expulsion are not permitted.
III. 16 & 17 Year Old Students
1. Follow procedures outlined in Section I.
2. Provide an official transcript from the last high school attended, indicating the date of withdrawal and the date of birth.
