Mr. Tim Holland started Holland Basham Architects in 1989, and continues as a prinicpal in that firm. Mr. Holland was also featured as an outstanding alumnus in the Spring 2006 Tooter. His architectural firm is located at 48th and Farnam Streets in the former Beth El Synagogue, and has 26 employees, and practices throughout the United States. Local building projects include Commercial Federal headquarters, Creighton University (several buildings and parking garages), Boys & Girls Clubs of South Omaha and North Omaha. They are currently designing the South Omaha Youth Sports Complex, and Offutt Air Force Base Housing Privatization.

His contributions to the community include serving on the Boards of Boys & Girls Clubs of Omaha (past president), Nebraska Food Bank, Destination Midtown Omaha, and Bellevue Chamber of Commerce. He is a guest design critic for the University of Nebraska at Lincoln School of Architecture.

His awards include being honored as 1976 Midwest Youth of the Year, 1985 Harvard University, Master Architect with Distinction, 2002 Spirit of Progress Award - Boys & Girls Clubs of Omaha, and 2005 Kiewit Construction Project of the Year award.

Tim states that he began studying architecture while a student at SHS, and he feels his teacher, Mr. Albert Pribramsky, gave him the skills and desire to achieve his dreams. He attributes his current success as a direct result of the teachers, staff, and students at SHS. He is pleased to give back to South Omaha by using his skills and donating his services to master a plan and help raise funds for a six-block Youth Sports complex. This project includes a 6,000 seat football/soccer stadium for Collin Field, two softball fields, walking trails, and practice facilities.
