Mr. Calek is President and CEO of Prairie Systems, Inc., a communications company based in Omaha. Prior to assuming this position he was Senior Vice President of Pamida, where he guided the company to outstanding growth in the retail market. In addition to his professional responsibilities, Mr. Calek has also served on the boards of the Henry Doorly Zoo, Missouri Valley Telecommunications Association, Nebraska Arthritis Foundation and was the chairman of the Duchesne Academy Conge'. Mr. Calek was also the president of the South High School Centennial Scholarship Committee, which has awarded over $30,000 in scholarships to South students since 1989.
