Superintendent of the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area. Ms. Kyral assumed her duties as the superintendent of this 54,000 acre park in January 1993, after six years at Scottsbluff and Agate Fossil Beds National Monuments. Kyral is the recipient of numerous awards including five Special Achievement Awards from the Park Service, the Governor's Special Tourism Achievement Award, the 1992 Scottsbluff Citizen of the Year Award and an award for service presented during the second World Conference on National Parks. JoAnn also has been presented the Sertoma Service to Mankind Award. She is active in numerous service organizations.
