After serving as a Douglas County Commissioner for 14 years, Mr. Buglewicz is currently serving his second term as the Register of Deeds. "Serving on the Student Court as a judge enkindled in me an interest in public service which has driven me ever since. Through my attendance at South High, I gained the knowledge of the importance of community service." In the past, Mr. Buglewicz has been honored by United Way of the Midlands, the Democratic Party, the Sons of Italy and, most recently, named as an honored member of 'Who's Who in Government Service in America.
